Hello,
My name is Randy Harvey and I was born, raised and have been flying here in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years. The last 18 years have been here in Bend. I love Central Oregon for the recreation, relaxed pace and the low amount of precipitation. We have our flying challenges - summer heat, winter snow and spring winds - but these translate into well-rounded students. For the most part we fly year-round, and rarely get shut down for more than a day or two in a row.
I really love it here at Professional Air! We are the perfect-sized flight school. We're not just an independent instructor with an airplane, nor are we a flying factory giving out "flash memory" certificates. We pride ourselves in "Quality of Instruction." From Grass Roots to the Flight Levels, we've been there.
And we have an awesome staff of highly qualified Management, Maintenance, Line Staff, and Instructors. The support level for our aircraft fleet is phenomenal. Our Director of Maintenance keeps us flying with very little down time. We have our own Avionics techs with excellent credentials on-site who help maintain our aircraft to the highest (Part 141) FAA standards.
Our Instructors are all here because they love to fly and teach. We have over 100 years of Certified Pilot experience in our Flight Training Department! We are a well-seasoned crew.
